Sharez 'Wellness 101 Blog' - "The Water of the Word"

On earth we depend on the one thing to frame our existence. It is the foundation of the way we function as human beings, the vehicle by which we exercise our freedom to live and our only tangible connection to God himself. This extraordinary thing is not used by any other animal on earth but depended upon even by Aborigines found in the most remote areas in the world. Sounds, tones, consonants, and vowels are all used to create a symbol we call, 'the word'.

Ephesians 5:26 says "sanctify and cleanse...with the washing of water by the word". Words have the ability to cleanse, to refresh, and to heal. There is a reason why water is used in such a powerful way and in comparison to the word. Water can be seen as the exact equivalent in our body as words are in our spirit.

Our body depends on one thing to frame its existence. Organs are indeed alive, cells are thriving, and molecules are teaming with potential. The only problem is that they need a way to be moved. Cells need a way to exchange. Organs need a vehicle that can carry its important messages to other parts of the body. This vehicle is always present naturally allowing functions of the body to flow -- information is transported and used. This vehicle is so vast in the body that it almost goes un-noticed, until it begins to disappear.

Lets stop for a moment and consider what would you do if tomorrow -- on your job, the event from the Tower of Babel happened (Genesis 11:1-9)? Let's say you opened your mouth to speak and no one could understand you and when someone spoke to you, you discover that you could not understand them? Let's say, today, our modern languages were no longer comprehended by anyone, how would you feel, what would you do? This might give you an idea of what happens in your body if this vehicle had a break down. Lets imagine it happens all the time. Clues, as often as you get a migraine, as often as you are hungry, or light headed, or constipated, or weak.... These are only a few things that take place when your body is trying to function without water.

Well you say, I already know I'm supposed to drink water... You know that you should, but most people don't really know why. There is a universe far beyond the understanding of any scientist on earth and you are it: the human body. The human body with all we know about its functions remains an enigma. One of the things that we know for sure is that its mostly made up of water and about two and a half quarts is used every day. Are you replacing what is being used up?

Drinking water is not about what the doctors say or what the bottled water ads say or what you think is OK. It's about replenishing the one thing your body depends on, the one thing that frames its existence, the foundation of your ability to function as a human being. Water is essentially the vehicle by which you exercises your freedom to live. Don't get caught up in the details of which water to drink and from where -- if you can afford better good quality water, then drink good; if you can afford the best drink, remember that even with all the scrutiny of the public water system in the United States, our water is far superior to most of the world's water system. So, if you must take a glass to the tap to keep going, then drink with vigor!

Let the water of this word bring a refreshing understanding of why you should drink more water today. May you raise your glass to heaven and as freely as you speak, drink!

Sharez 'Wellness 101 Blog' - Fat and Happy...

Fat and Happy. This is not the way many people describe themselves. The truth is what we have known all along: being thin isn’t the point- we only want it to be. We hail skinniness as a pinnacle of determination and self-control, when it has nothing to do with either. We have masked all the heaviness that lies underneath our skin and called it a weight issue when in truth it is a wellness issue.

Many of us weigh allot because we are not well. There is something to be said for being thin and healthy but those things come almost effortlessly when true wellness is achieved.

This path to true wellness begins with a personaBoldl definition of the word 'wellness'.

That my friends, can only come from a seriously committed participant who is ready to bare the diseased parts of their soul to be meticulously examined by asking the questions that need to be asked: Why do you continue on the way you do? Who are you really? Are you the person you see each day making the same mistakes?; are you the person that you want to be, that you see in your mind, emerging from the collapsing debris of that perpetrator - the old you - towards the forefront, ready and prepared to live your life purpose?

'Wait a minute,' you ask, 'all this has to do with wellness?’ I'll put it to you this way -- wellness has to do with everything. Food, drink, sleep, play, hygiene, relationships, money, habits etc. Every aspect of your life tells the world a little bit about you. Isn’t it about time you tell the world the truth -- that you are amazing! What better time than this to start our adventure together toward a better life and being the real you!
